The product
What is HelloStatus?
A live status board for your team. It shows who’s working, where they are, and whether they’re free to talk, so nobody has to ask around before picking up the phone.
How is it different from the green dot in our chat app?
Chat presence guesses from your keyboard. HelloStatus shows what people actually tell it: where they’re working, what they’re doing and when they’ll be back. And the whole team fits on one screen.
What happens when someone forgets to update their status?
Temporary statuses like Lunch or In a meeting expire at their return time, and everyone is signed out at midnight. The board starts clean every morning.
Do we need to install anything?
No. HelloStatus runs in your browser. Most people keep the compact board open in a small window in the corner of their screen.
Who is it for?
Teams of roughly 5 to 50 where availability matters day to day: taking customer calls, covering reception, running support or simply coordinating across home and office.
Privacy and trust
Does HelloStatus monitor our staff?
No. There are no screenshots, no keyboard or mouse tracking, no productivity scores and no attendance reports. People set their own status, and that’s all anyone sees.
Who can see my status?
Only the people in your organisation.
Do you keep a history of what people were doing?
HelloStatus is about now, not the past. We keep a short, access-controlled audit trail to run the service, and we never turn it into reports about your people.
Pricing and billing
How does pricing work?
One flat monthly price for your team size: £19 for 2–10 people, £39 for 11–25 people, £69 for 26–50 people. Every feature is included in every band.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Your whole team can use HelloStatus free for 30 days.
What if our team grows or shrinks?
Add or remove people freely within your band. Your price only changes if you cross into a different one.
We have more than 50 people. Can we still use it?
